Little Boots stands tall in fight against sweatshops

In a recent statement chart-topper Little Boots promoted the work of Love Fashion Hate Sweatshops, War on Want's nation-wide call to end sweatshop exploitation.

Speaking to the Daily Record, the singer said: "I support the campaign against sweatshops. It's awful for anyone who is not being paid minimum wage and work their backsides off. It is terrible that these sweatshops exist in Britain. The clothes aren't the problem because they are cheaper and you can't blame people for getting bargains."

Little Boots joins over 16,000 people across the UK who have signed on to our campaign for justice for garment workers. Last month War on Want and Jo visited 10 Downing Street to hand in these names, along with a multi-coloured t-shirt with the images of hundreds of our supporters. War on Want is grateful for her commitment to the campaign - and for her efforts to generate public awareness of the need to take action against sweatshop abuse.
